Our Core Commitment: Absolute Privacy

At Lyria Studio, we believe your voice, thoughts, and words are strictly private. Caspr was built from the ground up to guarantee that zero data ever leaves your computer.

1. 100% Local Audio Processing

When you dictate with Caspr:

• Audio captured from your microphone is processed strictly inside your Mac's RAM.
• All transcription engines (Apple Speech Recognition or local CrisperWhisper AI) run on your local hardware (CPU/GPU/Neural Engine).
• 0 bytes of audio recordings or transcriptions are transmitted over the internet or to third-party servers.

2. Zero Telemetry & Zero Trackers

The Caspr app:

• Requires no user accounts or registration.
• Contains zero analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or behavioral telemetry.
• Does not connect to external servers in the background (only optional, non-blocking GitHub release checks by your browser).

3. Optional Local Corpus Collection

Caspr provides an optional local benchmarking toggle. If enabled, audio and transcripts are stored strictly on your local disk (in ~/Library/Application Support/Caspr/corpus). These files remain under your sole control and are never uploaded.
